How far would you go to avoid being sexually assaulted or having to dance naked in front of strangers? Boycotts have proven to be very effective at crippling immoral and corrupt government policies and practices. It might be effective to Boycott TSA in addition to suing TSA agents in their individual capacity.
Many Americans are flying less and others are refusing to fly since the TSA has implemented “security measures” that would be laughable if they weren’t so sadistic. But the US is very isolated from most of the world by some very large and very wet oceans. There is no Chunnel from New York to London. There is a way to participate in a boycott of TSA and still travel by air internationally without having to undergo dehumanizing searches of your private parts.
Fly Out Of Mexico Or Canada
Air travelers flying within Mexico or Canada do not have to undergo the same invasive security procedures as air travelers in the US. Mexico and Canada still have security measures, but they are much more polite, much more effective and don’t go as far to violate basic human dignity. You can use this difference to your advantage. Boycott TSA by driving to a foreign airport for international flights. Just make sure that your flight is not routed through the US.
A Foreign Airport Might Be Closer Than You Think
About 40 million Americans live within 200 miles of a major airport in either Mexico or Canada. That means it is only a short drive or train ride to avoid making pornographic images of your body or having your genitals touched.
Here is a list of the major airports in Mexico and Canada near the US border and the major US metropolitan areas that are within 200 miles of each airport.
Toronto Pearson International Airport, Ontario
Buffalo, NY
Rochester, NY
Syracuse, NY
Erie, PA
Cleveland, OH
Youngstown, OH
Detroit, MI
Vancouver International Airport, British Columbia
Seattle, WA
Tacoma, WA
Olympia, WA
Kelowna International Airport, British Columbia
Spokane, WA
Piedras Negras International Airport, Coahila
San Antonio, TX
Monterrey (Genereal Mariano Escobedo) International Airport, Nuevo Leon
Laredo, TX
Brownsville, TX
Tijuana (General Abelardo L. Rodriguez) International Airport, Baja California Norte
Los Angeles, CA
San Diego, CA
Orange County, CA
Riverside, CA
San Bernardino, CA
Avoid Connecting In The US
Many of these international airports are very large and will be hubs for international travel anyway. From others, you can easily route through other major cities, like Mexico City, to reach your foreign destination. If you are traveling to Central or South America, it might even be cheaper to depart from Tijuana than it would be to depart from LAX, John Wayne, Ontario, San Diego, Burbank or other US airports.
Conclusion
Dr. Martin Luther King helped overcome immoral legal barriers by boycotting the local transportation system. The economic strain from the loss of revenue contributed significantly to overcoming those barriers. The same kind of boycott of the airlines today could have a similar effect. The ever-struggling airlines have already lost billions because of immoral “security measures.” Flying out of Mexico or Canada is how you can participate in the TSA boycott and still get where you need to go. Get How To Vanish the book to find other legal ways to boycott invasive and immoral privacy invasions.

Sir, I’m one step ahead of you. Please visit the Meetup group I created and tell other people you know. Visit the link below, or just click on my name. I am a libertarian.
http://www.meetup.com/National-Boycott-of-Airline-Travel-2011/
This meetup group is great! The chronically struggling airlines have already lost a lot of pa$$engers due to increasing security measures. Sexual battery on passengers has already impacted the number of airline pa$$engers. This holiday season I chose to drive many many hours each way to visit family members rather than fly. The only purpose for driving was to avoid sexual battery and dancing naked in front of strangers.
Your organized effort is an excellent tool to hit the airlines where it hurts. The parasitic TSA cannot survive long when their host is financially sick and dying.
Thank you for the words of encouragement, Mr. Rounds. You see, I feel that this effort goes to a much larger problem, and it is much bigger than any political party.
We are losing our soul and character as a nation that used to be a free and open society. NOTE: the program where on-the-spot blood tests are being done on those suspected of drunk driving who refuse the breathalyzer. It’s called ‘No-Refusal’ and officers will hold you down and jam a needle into you.
Over the years, we have seen the unbridled expansion of police powers in every government agency from the IRS, to the EPA, to social services, and even the ASPCA & Humane Society. Some of this began under the guise of protecting the environment, fighting for animals’ rights, helping families. A lot of it started with the IRS and the ‘War on Drugs’ with the arbitrary and horrendous forfeiture and seizure laws. Then, it picked up steam after 9/11 and Bush signed the Patriot Act into law. As an aside, local governments looking to increase their tax revenue have abused and made a mockery of eminent domain, the takings clause of the V. Amendment. Your home doesn’t even have to be an eyesore, abandoned or a hazard. The criteria is solely: does your town need more tax revenue? If a Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company can pay more taxes than a lowly homeowner, the town will seize your land and give it to another private interest [research the Kelo vs. New London case].
We are losing our rights: property rights, due process, parental rights, the right to eat what we want [FDA S510 Food Bill], the right against unreasonable search and seizures, etc. Any excuse will do, and they all come with promises of ‘perfect peace of mind’. Forgotten is the fact that life itself comes with risks, and nothing is perfect. Nevertheless, we are starting to resemble those Cold War countries that artists, scientists, and athletes were defecting from left and right during the 70′s.
I am working on a Facebook page for this Meetup. In fact, there is a Facebook button on the Meetup site. However, anything you can do to spread the word would be greatly appreciated. I’d like to turn this boycott into an INTERNATIONAL MOVEMENT if possible. If you have contacts abroad, please tell them about my efforts and the efforts of others I am bringing attention to ['We Won't Fly, Boycott Flying, etc/]
(There is also a woman by the name of Kate Hanni of Flyers Rights. She can be contacted at: Kate@FlyersRights.org.)
Again, thanks for your words of encouragement. I just hope more people get on board to restore Constitutional rule and sanity to our government and our daily lives.
I’ve been to the US more times than I can ever remember – and spent a lot of money there.
I now stay away, and any flights I take I will make absolutely sure have no US landings or flight through US airspace.
A little while ago, a Canada bound flight from Europe had to make an emergency landing in the US. A Canadian citizen was taken off the plane and charged with an offence and imprisoned. His offence was only so under US law – not under Canadian law. He had NO intention of entering the US. The Canadian Government protested – but to no avail.
Even Hitler, at the height of his powers, didn’t pull this kind of stunt.
He certainly didn’t take to himself the right to have anyone on the planet assassinated on a whim.
Excellent idea…
Thank you for the advice! I still marvel at the number of sheep willing to submit to scope & grope.
The other reason to boycott the airlines is that they are obviously trying to find out how much they can raise their fares until the planes stay empty. I used to fly up to 10 times a year and i noticed that in the past 3 years fares for example to the Philippines or to Germany have more than doubled. This does not have anything to do with the cost of fuel. Even in 2008 I was able to get a ticket to the Philippines for under $ 900. the same airline now charges over $ 2,000 for the same flight during the same month. I decided to stay home and spend my money for something else.
In my experience, most of the ‘connecting routes’ within the US did not require a further invasion of privacy as long as I did not leave the ‘security’ area. Maybe this is not the case in all airports …
